On the flight from Colorado to London I rode behind to ladies on their way back to Ghana, only one of them spoke English but they were so sweet and terrified of flying. I loved seeing how hard they were praying, but as soon as we landed they were verbally singing praises and thanking Him for our safety. It was a little convicting as I had also asked the Lord for a safe landing but when He provided I just kind of moved on to the next step rather then really thanking Him.
When I got into Heathrow airport I ended up struggling with another woman from Ghana over a tube of toothpaste in the bathroom unable to open it. In the end she just used mine and invited me to come see here if ever I am in Ghana. I don’t know if it will ever happen but I have so much to learn from their spirits of gratitude.
